Westchester Rain Garden

A unique change from the other gardens comes the Westchester Rain Garden. As you make your way around to the back bird haven you find yourself in a world where most may be unfamiliar with. Everywhere you look a different specie of bird will take you away to another place. They didn’t just find themselves there, they were strategically drawn to come back to their native home by the simple idea of filling the luscious plant life solely on native plants specific to the land.

With a trail to walk around the entire property not only are you able to observe the birds but you will be able to get up and close to all of the different plant life that reaches out to ones hand. Around the back and under the tree is the perfect bench to stop for a moment and watch birds from the outside of the plant life island that sits in front of you. Multiple bird feeders bring you a number of birds you may not usual see and while the birds feast away you will be able to observe the large amount of birds that hang out next to the feeders waiting their turn to dive in.
